Cruz Dann Productions creates audiovisual promotions and provides film and video production,
as well as multimedia design services in the US and Spain.
"As Far Out As Here (From the Vatican, With Love)" (2001), a film noir comedy shot in Madrid, premiered in the Portland International Film Festival and later in the American Cinematheque's "Recent Spanish Cinema 2002". It placed in the Rochester International Film Festival's "Best of the Fest" and screened in the 2003 Chicago Latino Film Festival. "Heart of Gold" (2000) is based on an early 19th century ghost tale by G. W. Kündelicht. The film received the Best Photography Award in the International Film Festival of Elche, Spain, and was selected in the Boston, Huelva and Alcalá de Henares film festivals, among others. Cruz Dann's first film "Silent" (1997), shot in Sevilla, is an homage to silent films at the time of their decline in Hollywood. It was a Finalist at Worldfest Charleston and screened in various international festivals and short film showcases in New York. Produced for the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society in New York State, "The Benjamin Patterson Inn Museum" (1999) is a ten-minute introduction to the museum complex as a living symbol of local history. Awarded a Certificate of Merit from the 2001 Rochester International Film Festival, this video is shown to school groups and museum visitors daily.
